Okay - I don't have anything especially profound to write, but I would like to note that I've begun rereading "The Purpose Driven Life". Now that I've got a few more years on me (and hopefully a bit more maturity!) maybe something will stick this time. The funny thing is that I'm only on the third day of it and already I feel convicted for the thing I struggle most with - gossip.
This is no coincidence. God led me to reread this book at this specific time in my life. Therefore I do not take these "coincidences" lightly, but instead as divine intervention. I'm doing something wrong and God is calling me on it!
My purpose? To live in a way that is pleasing to God.
If I could only remember to do this 24 hours a day, and then actually DO it, well - I'd be perfect. Since that's not nearly possible, I'll keep asking God to tame my tongue.
